DEVOTION

Sometimes what you see in front of you can make you lose hope.

You see the disappointment.

The unanswered questions.

The situation that hasn’t changed.

The door that remains closed.

The circumstances you wish were different.

And when you look at everything around you, you may wonder, “What is God doing?”

But what you see is not the whole story.

God sees what you cannot see.

He sees beyond the present moment. He knows what is happening behind the scenes of your life. He knows where your current season is leading, even when you cannot understand it.

Sometimes God changes our perspective before He changes our circumstances.

What looks like a delay may be preparation.What feels like an ending may be a new beginning.What seems like a loss may become a lesson.What feels like weakness may teach you to depend more deeply on God.

You do not have to understand everything to trust Him.

Today, ask God to help you look beyond what is visible.

Instead of only asking, “Why is this happening?” perhaps you can also ask, “Lord, what are You teaching me through this?

”Your circumstances may not change today.

But God can change the way you see them.

And sometimes, a new perspective gives you the strength to keep walking forward.

TODAY’S TRUTH

2. How can you choose to trust God with what you cannot see or understand?

PRAYER

Heavenly Father,

Sometimes I become so focused on what I can see that I forget You see the whole picture.

Help me look beyond my circumstances and trust that You are greater than what I am facing.

Give me a new perspective when I feel discouraged. Help me see my situation through the eyes of faith instead of fear.

When I do not understand what You are doing, teach me to trust who You are.

Remind me that what I see today is not the whole story.
