DAY 25 — God Can Use Your Story

“They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.”— Revelation 12:11 (NIV)

DEVOTION

There are parts of your story you may wish you could erase.

The season you struggled.

The mistake you made.

The relationship that broke you.

The years you wish had looked different.

The prayers you prayed through tears.

You may wonder why God allowed certain chapters to be part of your story.

But your difficult chapters do not have to be wasted.

God can use what you have walked through to encourage someone who is walking through something similar.

The woman who has experienced loneliness may know how to sit beside someone who feels alone.

The woman who has made mistakes may know how to offer grace.

The woman who has walked through disappointment may know how to encourage someone who is losing heart.

Your testimony doesn’t have to be perfect to be meaningful.

You don’t have to share every detail.

You don’t have to tell your story before you’re ready.

But when the time is right, God can use even the chapters you once wanted to hide.

Your story can become a reminder to someone else that they are not alone.

What you have walked through may one day become the very thing God uses to help another woman keep going.

TODAY’S TRUTH

God can use the story you once wanted to hide to become an encouragement to someone else.

REFLECTION

  1. What part of your journey has taught you something you could one day use to encourage another person?
  2. How might God use your experiences for His glory?

PRAYER

Heavenly Father,

Thank You that my past does not have to be wasted.

You know every chapter of my story—the beautiful ones and the painful ones.

Help me see my experiences through Your eyes. When the time is right, give me courage and wisdom to use what I have learned to encourage someone else.

Let my story point people toward Your goodness rather than toward me.

Use my life for Your glory.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
