“He comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.”— 2 Corinthians 1:4 (NIV)

DEVOTION
Some of the things you have walked through were not easy.
There were seasons that hurt.
There were moments when you cried alone.
There were lessons you learned through disappointment, failure, waiting, and pain.
At the time, you may have wondered why you had to experience those things.
But God can use even the difficult parts of your journey.
The comfort God gave you can become comfort for someone else.
The wisdom you gained can help another woman who is struggling.
The lessons you learned can help someone who is walking through a similar season.
You don’t have to have a perfect life to encourage someone.
You don’t need to have all the answers.
Sometimes, being a blessing simply means listening.
Sometimes it means saying, “I understand. You are not alone.”
Sometimes it means sharing how God helped you when you were struggling.
Sometimes it means praying for someone who doesn’t know how to pray anymore.
What God has done in you can become a source of encouragement to others.
Your difficult season may have given you compassion you did not have before.
Your tears may have taught you how to recognize someone else’s pain.
Your journey may have prepared you to reach someone you never thought you could help.
God does not waste what we place in His hands.
Your life can become a blessing.
And one day, someone may keep going because you were willing to remind them that God is still faithful.
TODAY’S TRUTH
God can use what I have received from Him to become a blessing to someone else.
REFLECTION
- What has God taught you through a difficult season of your life
- Who might need the encouragement, compassion, or wisdom God has given you?
PRAYER
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the ways You have carried me through difficult seasons.
Help me remember that what You have taught me can be used to encourage someone else.
Give me a compassionate heart toward those who are hurting. Help me listen without judging, encourage without pride, and serve without expecting anything in return.
Let the comfort I have received from You become comfort that I can share with others.
Use my life to bring hope, encouragement, and kindness to someone who needs it.
May everything You do through me point people back to You.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
