“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” — Proverbs 3:5–6 (NIV)

DEVOTION
Sometimes the hardest part of life isn’t where you’ve been—it’s not knowing where you’re going.
You pray for direction, but the answers seem delayed. You wonder if you’re making the right decisions for your family, your future, or your ministry.
God understands your uncertainty.
He has never asked you to know the entire journey. Instead, He invites you to trust Him with the very next step.
Like a lamp that lights only a portion of the path, God often reveals His will one step at a time. As you walk in obedience, He faithfully provides the guidance you need for each new day.
You don’t have to have every answer before you move forward.
The Shepherd knows the path because He has already walked it before you.
Even when the road seems uncertain, His hand is steady, His wisdom is perfect, and His timing is never late.
Trust Him today.
He is already leading you toward His best.
TODAY’S TRUTH
When you trust God, He faithfully guides you one step at a time.
REFLECTION
- What decision or uncertainty have you been carrying?
- How can you choose to trust God with your next step today?
PRAYER
Heavenly Father,
Sometimes I become anxious because I want to know what lies ahead. Thank You for reminding me that I don’t have to know everything when I know You.
Teach me to trust Your wisdom above my own understanding. Give me courage to follow wherever You lead, even when the path seems unclear.
Help me walk by faith, confident that You are directing every step according to Your perfect plan.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
