“Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you!”Isaiah 49:15 (NIV)
DEVOTIONAL
Have you ever wondered if anyone notices the quiet sacrifices you make?
The meals you prepare. The prayers you whisper. The tears you wipe away before anyone sees them. The burdens you carry without telling a soul.
Sometimes life can make us feel invisible. We begin to wonder if anyone truly sees us or remembers us.
Yet God speaks with astonishing tenderness:
“I will not forget you.”
Human memory can fail. People become busy. Friends drift away. Even those who love us deeply may overlook our struggles.
But God never does.
He sees every restless night, hears every whispered prayer, understands every hidden disappointment, and treasures every quiet act of obedience that goes unnoticed by others.
Nothing escapes His loving attention.
Today, rest in this truth: you are never forgotten because you are forever held in God’s heart.
REFLECTION
When have I felt forgotten by others?
How does knowing that God never forgets me change the way I face today?
What burden can I entrust to Him right now?
PRAYER
Father,
Thank You for never forgetting me, even when I feel unnoticed or alone. Help me believe Your promises more than my emotions. Remind me that my life matters to You and that every tear is seen by You. Give me peace as I rest in Your faithful love.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
