Dear woman, waiting is one of the hardest instructions God can give.

You would rather hear “yes” or “no.” At least then you would know what to do next. But sometimes God gives you neither. Instead, He invites you to wait.

Waiting can feel like standing at a door that refuses to open.You have prayed about it. You have prepared for it.

You have hoped for it. Yet nothing seems to change.

But God’s “wait” is not His way of saying, “I have forgotten you.

”Sometimes waiting is God’s way of saying, “Trust Me. I am not finished.

”You don’t need to understand everything today. You only need enough faith to trust God with today.

Don’t allow the silence to convince you that God is absent.

He is still your God in the waiting room.

And while you wait, He may be strengthening your faith, changing your perspective, preparing circumstances, or preparing you.
